1. The site is informational

Everything published here is general information about common computer security questions. It is not professional advice, security advice, legal advice or financial advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances, your device or your accounts. Nothing on this site examines, diagnoses or detects anything about the computer you are reading it on, and nothing here should be read as a statement about your particular situation.

It is also not a substitute for a qualified technician, for your bank, or for the guidance published by the Australian Cyber Security Centre. Where an answer says to seek help from one of those, that is the step being recommended, and this site does not replace it.

2. Accuracy and change

The answers are written and reviewed with care, and the sources behind factual claims are linked so you can check them. They are nevertheless general, and software changes continually. Product features, system requirements, subscription terms and prices described by any vendor can change at any time without this site knowing. Before buying anything, confirm the current details on the vendor's own website, which is the only authoritative source for its own product.

If you find something here that is wrong or out of date, write to info@crispphase.online and it will be looked at.

3. Links to other websites

This site links to websites operated by other organisations, including vendors, the affiliate network that operates the paid link, and Australian government bodies. Those sites are outside the control of ORYNA s.r.o. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their security or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the site it leads to. Each of those sites has its own terms and privacy notice, which apply once you arrive.

4. Using the content

The text, layout and illustrations on this site belong to ORYNA s.r.o. You may read, print and share pages for your own use and link to any page freely. Republishing substantial parts of the content, or reproducing it commercially, requires written permission. Product names and logos referred to in the text belong to their respective owners, as the notice in every footer sets out.

5. Availability

The site is offered as it is. No undertaking is given that it will be available without interruption, that every link will continue to resolve, or that it will be free of errors. Pages may be revised, moved or withdrawn at any time.

6. Liability, and what cannot be excluded

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Those consumer guarantees apply regardless of anything written here, and any part of these terms that would conflict with them does not apply to that extent.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, ORYNA s.r.o. is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on the general information it contains, including loss of data, loss of profits or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the information or to the cost of doing so.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where ORYNA s.r.o. is established, and the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. This does not displace the protections available to you as a consumer under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, or under the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence, and it does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. When they are, the effective date at the top of this page is updated, and the revised terms apply from that date. The version in force is the one published here.
